Amazing glamping located in Special Nature Reserve Jerma, just 3 hours away from Belgrade, Serbia and 1.5 hours away from Sofia, Bulgaria. Your retreat will be harmonizes with stunning Balkan nature. Accommodation in large private bell-tents with terraces, comfy beds with heating. A fully equipped kitchen, and personal bathrooms. There's a grill area, common space, board games, sauna, campfire, hammocks and hiking with unforgettable views.

STAY IN HARMONY WITH NATURE AT THE CABIN OF ROSEHIP CAMP

HOW THE OFF-GRID CABIN WORKS
The Cabin operates autonomously, without connection to urban utilities:

Electricity is generated by solar panels; the surplus is stored in batteries and used during the night.
Heat is provided by a wood-burning stove. The cabin is well-insulated: in rainy autumn and spring days, one load of firewood in the morning is enough, while in snowy winter days, one load in the morning and one in the evening keeps the cabin warm and cozy.
Hot water is supplied by an energy-efficient electric boiler, which only needs to be switched on once a day during active sunlight hours.
Meals can be prepared on a gas stove or the wood-burning stove.
Water comes from a mountain spring into a 1000-liter reservoir and is then supplied to the cabin. Excess water flows into nearby forest ponds, playing an important role in supporting the area’s biodiversity.
Only certified biodegradable cleaning and hygiene products are used. After use, the water goes through a two-stage ecological purification system and safely returns to the soil.

At the same time, guests do not have to give up their usual level of comfort: the Cabin is equipped with Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, a modern kitchen, a king-size bed and two additional heated sleeping places, a bathroom with hot shower, and everything needed for a comfortable stay.
We invite our guests to live in a natural rhythm: wake up with the sun, explore the surroundings during the day, and rest as darkness falls.

Use of solar energy and energy-efficient systems reduces the carbon footprint.
Biodegradable cleaning and hygiene products, combined with a two-stage purification system, ensure that used water returns safely to the ecosystem.
Absence of urban utilities minimizes the load on infrastructure and preserves the natural environment.
Refusal to use reinforced concrete guarantees that the area can quickly return to its natural state after the project’s lifecycle ends.

Thus, staying at the Cabin has minimal impact on the ecosystem while allowing you to enjoy a comfortable holiday in harmony with nature.

WITH CARE FOR BIODIVERSITY

YOUR STAY AT ROSEHIP CAMP MAY HAVE POSITIVE IMPACT TO LOCAL BIODIVERSITY

As a residents of "Canyon of Jerma River National Reserve" we've developed principles of ecological responsibilities such as:
1) Your stay at Rosehip Camp will have minimal carbon footprint since 95% energy we use is renewable.
2) Your stay would not pollute water sources since we use only 100% biodegradable cleaning liquids.
3) We use natural constricting materials as a stones and timber: no concrete, no metal constructions. So as soon as we finish your project place would be same like it was before.
4) Also we empower guests to actively contribute to enhancing the natural environment surrounding.

By participating in charity lunches or dinners, guests support our mission of showing the way of co-living with wild nature.
Thanks to their donations, we've recently constructed a vibrant pond, a haven fostering the breeding of fire salamanders. Join us in nurturing biodiversity and creating unforgettable experiences that re-connecting people with the wonders of nature!

HOW TO GET HERE?

You can reach us by a direct bus from the main bus station in Subotica – Novi Sad – Belgrade – Pirot (your stop is the final station).

The ticket costs around €25 per person, and the journey takes about 4 hours.

There is also an alternative route: Belgrade – Niš, then Niš – Pirot,

which may arrive earlier than the direct one, depending on the schedule.

The ride costs around €12 and takes about 30 minutes
